President's address

After celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Avon Valley Concerts last season here we are now looking forward to our 41st season commencing in October 2025 and I am delighted to continue my role as President.

To attend an Avon Valley Concert is a special and pleasurable experience. The combination of the intimate setting, intense concentration and joyful communication of the musicians together with the welcoming enthusiasm of the audience are all elements that make live music-making so enriching and life-affirming. I encourage everyone to come and enjoy the wide variety of concerts on offer in our forthcoming season.

My heartfelt thanks to our financial supporters and local councils who have helped to make it all possible – also to the Avon Valley Concerts Committee, a team of dedicated and well-informed music lovers who have been successful in providing a variety of first-class classical music concerts and strive to bring the very best, through thick and thin, to the Avon Valley.
