About us
For the past 35 years, we have been bringing first-class classical music performed by professional musicians to our area of Ringwood and Fordingbridge. We present six evening concerts between September and April.
Our performers range from established stars to the up-and-coming musicians of the future. Our concerts are held in the intimate atmosphere of small, comfortable and well-heated venues. Normally, the musicians will address the audience and give us an insight into the complexities of the work they're performing and a brief background history of the composer who wrote it.
We do hope that we will be able to welcome you at one of our future recitals.
President's Message:
"As President of Avon Valley Concerts, I am delighted to see the continuing quality of this 36th Season. The range and variety of performers offers everyone a breadth of experience of fine chamber music in established local venues at economical costs, despite the inevitable consequences of current economic uncertainties.
Please take up tickets for as many of the concerts as you can - or ideally subscribe to the whole series! - and support the efforts made by the Committee to continue this truly local resource for music lovers in the lovely Avon Valley."
